The Cottage Tea Rooms in Bassaleg, Newport

Myself & my daughter have driven past here many time so on our day off we decided to pay a visit for breakfast. We entered through the quaint door to see a lady sat down reading a newspaper and another using 2 tables nor for a monster energy drink and a bag of crisps and the other table to sit at charging and using her mobile, neither looked up or said hello so we assumed they were customers. 10 mins later one lady got up and asked us if we were ready to order then the other lady went into the kitchen too cook our food, we were shocked they were staff. To cut a long story short it's a run down greasy spoon grubby old fashioned but not in a good way, we had to ask for our bill and left with no thank you or goodbye, it's not a tea room, yes they sell tea but that's about it.
