Travis Plumbing in Hildenborough, Tonbridge

What started off to be a straight forward bathroom/toilet refurbishment ended up a complete and utter 7 month nightmare?
The standard of work that was carried by this plumber doing the straight forward job ended in disaster. I ended up with 3 serious leaks in my house which caused a great amount of damage in my house. The plumber in question that carried out the work was very dismissive at the amount of damage that was caused by the leaks.

The leaks were due to the total incompetence of the plumber through the wrong size flexible piping which he did admit to causing the leaks. I had water damage in my lounge/diner it went through to my spare bedroom causing a hell of damp and mould on the bedroom wall which he said all I had to do was to clean it off with some bleach but I said I should not have to repair damage caused by your work. it poured in to my conservatory and flooded where my dogs sleep of a night time and it flooded my kitchen causing the ceiling to fall down which he did try to repair and made such a bad job of the whole thing the surface of the ceiling looked like the map of England, it also went into my lights in the kitchen causing a bad cracking sound in the electric's but he said this was ok it will dry out I did say I could have electrocuted myself but still he dismissed the whole nature of the dangers of this.

I paid out a lot of money to have this work done which I have found out since that he over charged me on certain items that he purchased to do the jobs and all he could say was so have I paid out a lot money but I thought I was the customer who should have been paying for a standard of work. I gave him the chance to carry out the repairs advised to by my solicitor and house hold insurance company but the jobs were still not satisfactory to the standard I was expecting I was so unhappy and stressed with the whole experience that I told him not to come back anymore and his reply to all that was I don’t care who you have spoken to or got a secondary opinions from and he then slammed the phone down on me. I have now had to do some of the repairs myself and the jobs I cannot do I will have to pay someone else to do. So all in all I would not recommend this guy to anyone and to advise people to steer clear of this crap plumbing company Travis Plumbing based in Hildenborough Tonbridge as I received an absolutely crap service and a poor standard of work from this company. I did ask for a small refund to compensate me for the damage and the repairs that needed doing but he virtually laughed at me.

The company does not even deserve a single star rating from me but I have had to give 1 star to publish this review.
