Syston and District Volunteer Centre offer a wide range of services that are geared towards those who are disabled, elderly or rurally isolated. We cover Syston and 21 local villages over a 25 square mile area. We offer a Social Car Scheme for those who find it difficult to travel independently or to use public transport for their needs. This service enables people to arrange transport to wherever they may need to go, at a nominal charge, to cover the volunteer’s costs. The service is offered seven days a week, bookable in advance, and there is a small admin. Charge to cover costs.
