Boots The Chemist in Maidenhead

Today (Saturday) I visited Boots the chemist in Maidenhead. The queues were awful, on the prescription counter and the till next to the prescription counter. I was alarmed to see one cashier who was on the till serving, plus providing pharmacy advice to customers, she often left the till to run onto the shop floor to get various medicine for customers. The queues and waiting times were dreadful. On the prescription counter it was no better. One person serving and one pharmacy. One customer had been waiting over 30 mins to have a booked flu jab and had not even been given the documentation to complete. I had to wait 45 mins from queuing at the pharmacy counter to obtain my prescription medicine. None of the queueing customers in Boot the chemist had a good experience. Many were complaining about the queues and could not understand what is going so wrong. It could be a lack of staff, lack of training, who knows. All I know is I will not be going back.
