Hendry & Sons Ltd in Foulsham, Dereham

It was a terrible experience. No compassion, no dignity for my mother. The room was appalling. Nobody to meet us even though we arranged a viewing to say our goodbye. We were led into a dull uninviting room with no curtains at the window. My mothers coffin was under the window which was only a matter of 1.5 meters from the road! As there were no curtains anyone could have looked through the window. My mother was not prepared very well and was not recognisable as my mother. Around her mouth she looked skeletal and any makeup applied was done very badly. Her hair had not been brushed. Just terrible. We had to bury my dad 18 months ago and the experience was so completely different. I felt I could not say goodbye to my mum. I think even 1 star is too generous.
