Bay Tree Interiors in Grassington, Skipton

I visited the shop today during the 1940s weekend. I purchased a few items & upon looking at them again, i noticed a spelling mistake. One of the items said "your'e" not "you're". I returned to the store to be told I couldn't have a refund as I had purchased it like that & because no one else had returned the item. I had to stand in the shop & argue with both staff members after their refusal & would like to point out that retailers can't refuse a refund if the item is technically faulty but the customer didn't notice at the time of purchase. Both the male & female staff members (father & daughter) were incredibly rude!! When I left the shop to go get my debit card for a refund, the female staff member said "oh for gods sake" like I was a nuisance despite being well within my rights as a consumer to get a refund. I think the attitude of both these people was disgusting & they certainly lack customer service skills. I will not return to this shop & was utterly appalled by these people.
