Madhatter Design is an established Faversham company, designing and creating bespoke headwear and accessories for special occasions. Ladies are invited to attend a complimentary one to one consultation with the designer once she has purchased her outfit to work towards a headpiece, based on the current Madhatter Design collection, which perfectly completes the 'look' she is aiming for.
All items are 'one off', created and made by the designer. A range of millinery fabrics and notions may be used in the making of an item - sinamay, crin, silks, linens, feathers, crystals, pearls..... The tiniest offcut of fabric from the lady's clothing can be incorporated into the design. The type of headwear offered ranges from traditionally hand blocked brimmed or pillbox hats to smaller fascinators which many ladies often favour. Winter hats are also available, as are bridal veils, flower girl garlands and headpieces, corsages and clutch bags. The service is by appointment only.
