The name RTITB, formerly The Road Transport Industry Training Board, has been synonymous with the road freight and logistics industry for 40 years. Since its incorporation in 1998, RTITB has grown leaps and bounds, offering a wide breadth of services to those within the industry.
The primary aim of the business is to provide accredited materials handling equipment training, an activity that is recognised by the HSE, HSE NI and HAS, respectfully. Today RTITB accredits the training provided at over 600 locations throughout the UK and Ireland, with over 8,000 registered instructors and in excess of 293,000 operators currently on our database.
In 2003 RTITB purchased its current headquarters in Telford, Shropshire, soon establishing The RTITB Academy which provides Lift Truck and LGV Instructor training in support of its accreditation activity.
