Looked over their website this morning which stated there were 3 cars available for dismantling so packed up the family and headed down to Edinburgh after a couple hours drive we got there to be told "aye we've got them but they're in a compound and only available Monday to Friday. First time I've been to a breakers yard that I've basically got to book in advance! Waste of time of a place if you gotta work 6 days a week, I def won't be using them again!!!
Very good customer service provided by 'SCB' (used to be called Sports Car Breakers as far as I know), anyway I bought a few parts and when I inquired their answer was quick and to the point. Recommended
A friend of mine bought a Nissan and has had a few problems with the engine. Nothing really serious but a few stumbles here and there. I guess buying a salvage vehicle can be a bit of a gamble, and people shouldn't really expect to get perfect cars given the inexpensive price.
All in all, John is pretty content with what he got from SCB for the price he paid.
By far the best and most reliable auto salvage dealer in the area, I have dealt with them in the past and would not look anywhere else if I had to buy a salvage car.
They always have a wide range of brands (choice) and the general conditions were pretty good I found.
