Intesa Sanpaolo SpA in London

Beware! Beware! Beware! Their conduct is beyond anything you can imagine even in the Wild Wild West. My experience over the past 9 years trying to get them to give me my money has been unheard of anywhere in the civilised world and borders on the criminal. They are slapdash, will not honour the most basic requirements of banking and then pretend not to speak English whenever convenient. I opened an account with them in Italy many years ago and it counts as one of the most harrowing experiences of my life. Their treatment of me in their London branch as a UK citizen also not much better.
Awful, awful institution which I've now had to report to the Italian Regulator. They don't deserve even 1 star but there's no category below it.
