Grosvenor House Hotel in Clacton-on-Sea

State of cleanliness as a whole was bad, bathroom too small uncomfortable to even sit on toilet, shower curtain no use for bath water everywhere. Double room was in fact two single beds pushed together, no signal on tv in room or bar for two days. Bar closed at 9.15 every night even though resident in bar drinking.
Breakfast was reasonable until last day when booked out a day early because of lack of cleanliness and service. Management are absent, I couldn't even be bothered to listen to issues in person, just left a message on phone from a withheld number. People regularly wandering around the bar in pyjamas, off duty staff sitting feet up on chairs in bar lazing about.
Do not use this hotel if you can avoid, no covid restrictions or health precautions taken at all, no one sanitised or wore face masks, staff or residents. Absent managers leaving the running to lazy staff. Pace is a nightmare to stay at.
