Little John Fish and Chips in Ryde

Firstly, the chip portions were ridiculously small, and I mean really ridiculously small. The cod that we received was about the size of a piece of scampi but less meat and the burger must have been microwaved as it tasted disgusting and was pale in colour. The saveloys were just ok-ish but the fact I ordered four when there only three on display and then received a comment about the hardship of having to shove another one in hot water wasn't fine. Now I'm not normally a complainer, I'm really not, but that meal cost me three hours of work. Nearly £30 for meal that was substandard in every which way. Save your cash and go a few shops up to the other chip shop as this one will leave you feeling conned, had over and hoodwinked. I would never recommend this particular shop and I feel sorry for the young lad working there. No wonder we were the only customers at that time whereas the chip shop a few doors up had to close for ten minutes so they could restock after a big lot of orders says it all. AVOID!
