Description:
Father and Son Team Bob and Richard North offer you a warm welcome to The Greyhound Inn, a traditional pub that listens to the locals, a compact and snug pub there is space to sit and enjoy a quiet pint by the cosy log fire, a light bite or an evening meal. To the rear of the pub is a large beer garden with patio which is popular in the summer. Bob and Richard welcome walkers, ramblers and cyclists anytime.

New landlord (since May 2014). Good country pub. Reasonably priced menu. Good selection. Staff friendly. Facilities clean. Beer is superb. Guinness is good. Fire inviting. Look forward to seeing what it's like in the summer.

Pretty awful frankly. It has gone seriously downmarket-wouldn't look out of place on the Oxford Road or cemetery junction in Reading. Dirty glasses, landlord dressed scruffily sipping water from a bottle, patronising dumbed down menu, industrial looking gas bottles providing the heating, tacky looking hi-fi supplying music - I could go on. A few years ago this was a nice establishment and a pleasure to visit. I was shocked at what it has become and won't be back in a hurry. It has become like many places these days - run on the proverbial shoestring - the bottom line is king!
