The area has a countryside feel yet it's convenient to the market towns of Huntingdon and St Ives with Cambridge being a mere 13 miles away. The fast train from Huntingdon will deliver you to London Kings Cross within 50 minutes.
The twin villages of Wyton and Houghton lie a brief stroll away, as do the marvellous countryside and river walks of the Ouse valley. The villages boast two traditional pubs serving great food, a busy independently owned traditional shop, 2 tea rooms, an antique shop and an awesome art gallery that features the eclectic talent of local artists.
The only operational water mill on the River Great Ouse is situated in Houghton and it is managed by the National Trust.
