Offering companionship whilst sharing your journey through talking therapy.Initially I was hesitate about seeing a Counsellor and was a little nervous/ embarrassed about sharing my ’struggle’ and my personal thoughts/feelings but from the outset Shirley put me at ease. She was a calming influence and helped me to focus and to organise my thoughts through our weekly sessions. She was always encouraging and positive with me and this helped me to rebuild my confidence from a fairly low point.
