Dyslexia Action is a national charity and provider of services and support for people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties.
It provides services and support to children, adults, parents, educational institutions and employers.
The Centre offers a range of services to meet different budgets and needs, one size does not fit all and services and support are provided based on individual needs.
Support and services are offered for Wilmslow and surrounding areas and are also available from the Bolton Outpost.
The Centre offers:
- Free advice
- Screening and assessments
- Specialist literacy tuition for children and adults
- Individual Learning Package for learners unable to attend the Centre
- Courses such as typing tuition, study skills, spelling, literacy
- Awareness sessions and training for schools
- Awareness talks for parents and other interested people
- Workplace consultancy.
