Deneholme Dental Practice
The dentist failed to spot my fractured tooth after x-rays and an examination of my mouth in april 2013 and told me to try sensyodene toothpaste and showed me to the door as usual... the pain got worse so I made a second appointment where she did find the damaged tooth and with that her whole attitude changed from caring and pleasant to abrupt and uncaring... she told me cracked teeth cannot be repaired... she told me in the same manner that I had been grinding my teeth and nothing could be done and walked away to the window and left me on the couch... I was confused by this and began to get up thinking she`s finished with me so I started to get up from the couch thinking she might say something but she didn't, so I left the room wondering what I should do. Later the next night (Friday) I phoned the nhs dental helpline where they told me if I could not wait until Monday morning to go back to the practice to get back in touch with them where they would extract the tooth, but I decided that I had waited this long with the pain and if I was careful eating over the weekend I could go back Monday morning which I did... this time I asked to see Mrs Farrel who immediately spotted the tooth and removed it... I explained to her what had happened and later made a complaint to the ombudsman where I am waiting for a decision on this appalling behaviour... I also noticed others have had the same problem with this dentist after reading other reviews.
