M & D Motors in Exmouth

'Awful garage do not use!! We came down from Southampton on Holiday, and our car had a fault on the way to Exmouth. Booked in with this Garage and advised them that we were on holiday. They diagnosed the fault, replaced the part, but on the way home from Exmouth the same fault happened. We had a hell of a journey home, and phoned the garage once we arrived home. They wanted us to drive the Car back to them (3 Hrs) for them to do tests and check what has happened. But the car is not drivable. We then got our Mechanic friend to look at the Car and he diagnosed it to be Just an Air Filter that costs £10.00 instead of what we had been charged from the garage £259.00. We called the garage and they agreed if we sent the part back to them they would send us a cheque for Labour and part that wasn’t needed. We sent this part back to the garage. 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t sent us a cheque. They are now trying to worm out of not paying. NOT A GARAGE TO BE TRUSTED!!!! NOT DIAGNOSED THE CORRECT FAULT AND WONT KEEP THE WORD!
