Derek Pickup in Ninfield, Battle

I engaged Derek to rewire two 1 bedroom flats. While Derek's work is fine (when he actually does any work), he cannot work to a deadline or schedule. Unfortunately I had to move into a flat with no power at all because Derek missed the deadline by over 6 weeks and left me to live in the equivalent of a cave.

Furthermore, for some reason Derek feels the need to consistently lie - he lies about when he will be on site, he lies about being able to make deadlines, he lies when he has made a mistake and would prefer to argue with the customer to get them to change what they have asked for, rather than admit he made an error. He never cleans up after himself after work. He uses his personal life to make excuses and to try and garner sympathy when he doesn't turn up.

I found it exhausting to deal with Derek. The word 'sorry' has never crossed his lips and he honestly doesn't care how his delays affect your life. At one point when I complained about the delays, he declared my house 'livable'.

There are other, better, electricians out there who actually treat you with respect, don't shout at you and finish on time. I recommend you use one of them.
