Abegails Cafe in Ilford

My visit of Abigail's cafe was a bewildering experience. After spending a couple of minutes looking at the extensive menu above the counter, I decided to order the Roast Beef dinner and a coffee. The waitress seemed to have difficulty in understanding my order who then asked another waitress for an explanation of what I had asked for. Instead of asking me for clarification, the two decided that laughing among each other was appropriate.

I then repeated my order for the Roast Beef and a coffee. As I walked to a table, the waitresses were still joking at they thought I had said. One of the waitresses had said that she heard Roast Beef salad. I assumed that she was still joking. Unfortunately, she was not and several minutes later, sure enough a roast beef salad arrived at the table.

Judging by the level of customer service I had already received, I quickly came to the conclusion that it was pointless complaining. This was probably the worst experience from any cafe I have experienced which is why I have for the first time bothered to write a review.
