Mountain Warehouse (Head Office) in London

The reason I have only given this 2 stars is not for the quality and choice of goods but the overall shopping experience. I visited your shop in Freeport Braintree. The staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful. The shop was freezing cold making the clothes feel damp and the whole shop took on that dreary damp cold day experience. We asked them why the doors were open and apparently that is a ruling from head office. Needless to say we didn't bother to try anything on as it was far too cold and we couldn't be bothered, needless to say that was 2 ski outfits not sold by your shop. We then visited Trespass, what a difference, the shop was bright, lovely and warm and we felt comfortable to walk around without having to keep our coats on, apparently Trespass used to have to keep their doors open but fortunately someone at head office must have come to their senses. Surely there must be a ruling about the temperature staff have to work in your staff looked cold and must have found it hard to put on a friendly face. I bet your offices are lovely and cosy.
