Wok U Like in Basingstoke

AVOID!
Service fantastic, food absolutely disgusting. Over boiled meat (several times I would say), everything else tastes of vinegar and now in the bin.

Really disappointing and still hungry, but I sense my stomach will thank me for throwing it away in the morning.

Avoid!

Last thursday we came back home late and ordered food from Wok U Like:

Satay king prawn on skewers - good
Chicken wings - so so, have had much better ones
Kung poa king prawns - really tasty
Sweet and sour spare ribs - excellent
Thai chicken with babycorn - ok, but we left some of it
Beef with green pepper - best dish we ordered, beef cooked to perfection
Pineapple fritter - nice dessert

Overall a pleasant experience and one we are going to repeat. I would recommend Wok U Like if you like chinese food.

Our food was delivered cold. When I reported it, they were prompt to replace it and apologised. This is the right attitude to have and an example of good customer service. Speaking of the meal, we ordered shanghai vegetarian noodles, shrimp chow mein, beef with spring onion and ginger and spicy crispy pork. The pork was fantastic and reeeaallly spicy, and the beef very tasty. Noodles were good too. Overall I would still recommend despite the delivery, because of the way they handled the situation.

OK takeaway, the open kitchen is a really nice touch, and a nice way for you to check what's going on in the kitchen. Food is good but not excellent, there are better takeaways in the area.
