Western Tarpaulins in Farrington Gurney, Bristol

We contacted Robert Matthews of Western Tarpaulins to make boat coverage for us in February 2022. We paid a deposit of £500 to him 3 March 2022. He came once to measure and a second time to put a wooden frame to the front of our boat. And then he went quiet. The odd response revealed a litany of personal issues from asthma and Covid to a dodgy back and a bereavement. And then we never heard from him again. Today 24 August 2022 we have no boat covers, no refund of the deposit paid and no word or response from Robert in months.
