Alltonside in Fort William

We stayed at Alltonside Guest House in May of 2016. The room was in extremely poor condition and my bed had a bar underneath the thin mattress that required me to shift during the night to be able to sleep. We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years, and this was the worst. On a good note, the breakfast was nice. However, after breakfast, the innkeeper stood at the door while guests lined up to pay her. It felt like a poorly run business instead of being welcomed into someone's home. The best part about it was the view across the street.
