Molly Pollard in Welling

Molly Pollard taught me to play the piano many years ago, from 1974 to 1982. An excellent teacher, very talented, explained every skill so clearly and really cared about her pupils. She always wrote very clear evaluations of each lesson so you knew exactly what you had to do to progress with your playing skills. She also had such a lovely way of showing when you could have made greater progress (as I tended to dislike practising and preferred to just perform). I owe so much to Molly as, as well as helping me to develop a love of the piano and music, she gave me a love of teaching which ended up becoming my profession. Molly Pollard even taught my mum, who dreamt of learning to play the piano, and gave her a gift she always treasured. I owe so much tom Molly and will say any pupil that has Molly as their piano teacher is very lucky indeed.
