Description:
The Dorman family have been involved in the Photo industry for over 48 years.
Alf and Eleanor Dorman opened their first Photo Shop (Dormans of Dunstable Ltd) in West Street, Dunstable in 1957, followed a few years later by a larger unit in the new Quadrant Centre.
In 1979 they were joined in the business by their son Nick. Over several years, they expanded to six shops at the height of the 80's but with many changes to the high street and shopping centres they eventually closed all except their pharmacy business in 1995.
Since 1995, Nick has been running Dormans Photo Imaging Ltd, a specialist photo and minilab business operating out of the original photo shop in the Quadrant Centre in Dunstable.
Over the last ten years Nick has invested in state of the art Agfa Digital Labs, Customer Kiosks and Wide format Inkjet printing technology to ensure all work is to the highest possible standards and totally under their control.
