Raggengill Kennels in Abington, Biggar

We travelled over three hours to get to this place after applying to an ad for a puppy. We wish we had never found it. The place was absolutely filthy and in extremely poor repair. We were taken into what we thought was a front room of a house. There were dogs and puppies all over the place. They had no control over them at all. However we had travelled a long way and didn’t want to go home empty handed. Now I wish we had. When we got home the dog was extremely hyper and we could do nothing with it.
We asked them if we could return the dog to them but they got very defensive and aggressive and said we were not getting our money back. We never expected our money back, we just wanted the puppy away. We have breaded dogs ourselves over the years and have never seen a dog act the way this one did and hope we never see it again. We only hope that the Scottish RSPCA do checks on this place as soon, they don’t seem to have up until now, because we were obviously at a puppy farm. We gave the dog to a highly reputable rescue kennel.
