Went to Gaucho the other night and really liked it! The waiter brings a butcher's board with all the cuts on it for you to pick, and offer their expert advice based on how you'd like your steak cooked. Steaks were amazing, super tender, and side dishes also really nice, especially spinach and roast sweet potatoe. Recommended.

Food is excellent and service is splendid. My sister comes from London so we can go here. Would be perfect if it wasn't that expensive, but when you eat those steaks you immediately forget about anything else! A perfect place for celebrations.

Steaks here are definitely not cheap, but worth every penny! The staff were warm and friendly, as you'd expect in an Argentinian restaurant. Great selection of really good desserts! Gaucho is a must if you want to eat a delicious steak in style! We'll definitely go back.

I was visiting my brother in Manchester and we went to Gaucho. Really nice place on the trendy side of the restaurant spectrum. Starters were a bit disappointing to be honest, a bit below average and quite expensive for what we got. Steaks were excellent however, and so was the wine, picked from a varied and nice selection. I would recommend Gaucho, but prices are a bit steep so definitely not a place for everyday lunches!

Gaucho is one the best argentinian restaurants I have been to! We had the sirloin with the chorizo rub and it was absolutely delicious! We are not regular steak eaters, but our medium-rare steaks were clearly cooked to perfection.
Staff are very competent and helpful, we had a taste of their wine from Argentina and it was really good and full of fragrances. The decor is dark and a bit moody, I didn't particularly like the cowhide decor. Still, a great place if you want to have a fantastic steak and some really good wine!

I've been to many first class steak houses over the years, Gaucho in Manchester I think is good but not excellent. At £30 steaks are not cheap, add salad and chips and you are at £40. If you drink wine, add another 30-40... you get to £100 quids each pretty easily. Not a bad place, but for that amount I would rather go somewhere else.

The staff were really attentive and professional. The emanadas and cerviche starters were great. Some of the best meat I've had in a while. Fine wine collection. Expensive! So what can I say? Definitely recommended if you can afford it!

Not exactly my kind of place, the environment is a bit posh and not exactly what I tend to associate to Argentina, but maybe that's me! Still, the bife de chorizo was both really tender and delicious! I would probably not go back for the decor and elegant atmosphere, but definitely enjoyed every bite of my steak!
