Appalling place, please do not go! We paid £18.10 for 2 breakfasts and drinks, but when the breakfasts arrived they were covered in lots of nearly orange (old) foul tasting grease and it was very poor quality (e.g. cheap bready catering sausages). We did not eat them because of this and the fact there were flies buzzing around our food from the second it hit the table. Furthermore, there was bits of dried dishwasher soap left on our mugs. We told the lady at the till and eventually the owner that we were not happy with the quality or preparation of our breakfasts, and although we were polite and reasonable (we actually said we would pay for the drinks but would like a refund on the food) they refused and laughed at us. They said they had cooked the food as normal, and were very rude, even to my clearly pregnant other half. At one point the owner simply told us to “take it further” and to “ask the gentleman behind what his was like” as they had served 10 breakfasts that day. This was the most unfriendly and unprofessional service I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I will be ‘taking it further’ with North Norfolk Councils Trading Standards using the receipt that the owner signed stating “No Refund- Food Cooked As Normal” and the video we have of her refusing a refund and being rude.

Arrived in Mundesley on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon, found this pleasant cafe. Really nice!
I seated outside and had tea with cake, really good, sea views from the cliff top position is absolutely beautiful. Cafe is tidy and well organized.
Ideal location for snacks and meals (they also do lunches), will visit again!

Tea came in a cup that was so well worn & battered it was unpleasant to drink from, as the suface of the cup felt rough. The cup that the coffee came in for my partner, was in better condition but the saucer was chipped. The tables are covered in beige design PVC that is only just big enough to cover the table so it is clipped on which gives the appearence of being wrapped around the table. Not a good look. The soup when it arrived had not claimed to be home made so should I not have been disapointed to discover it was clearly tinned! A grimey looking carpet covers the floor & every thing looks jaded. Staff pleasant enough & there is a lovely view out to sea. Not sure I would bother to call again.

Hideous breakfast dripping in orange cooking oil. It was totally inedible and when I asked for a refund I was flatly refused. I'm going to report the owner. I'm absolutely shocked proprietors think this is acceptable in this day and age. I will never, ever go back to this place.
