Nelson's Footwear in Settle

We have been having shoes made by Mr Nelson for many years. He always makes exactly what we ask for and they last and last (my oldest pair of boots is 8 years old and still going strong, even though they are worn most days). He makes lasts of the customer's feet so that when you go back for another pair of boots or shoes he has the shape and size of your feet.

He also makes bespoke bags and other items and appears to like a challenge, so can make most things so long as you can draw them and give him measurements. I have recommended him to many people and no-one has been disappointed. His shop is well worth visiting - he has an array of shoes which he has made dating from Roman times to Victorian.

The only drawback is that the shoes can take some time to make because he has so much business - but they are always well worth the wait.
