Description:
APT Countryside Management have been providing Woodland Management Services since 1991.
Specialising in woodland investments up to 200ha in size, upon purchase we provide a range of services tailored to the client’s immediate requirements. These include developing the woodlands inherent value, utilising the woodlands as a source of sustainable / renewable energy and the sporting and conservation interests of the holding.
Through our effective Woodland Planning strategies we work with our clients to improve the infrastructure of the woodland and increase the long-term value of the investment through either one of, or a mix of:
• Developing the potential for commercial timber – planning the transition, growth and management of woodlands generally in excess of 50ha,
• Developing the sporting value – approximately 60% of all woodland in the UK has a sporting association,
• Improving the amenity value of woodland – developing the structure and potential of the woodland,
• Developing the conservation aspects of the woodland and habitat protection.
We have a track record of obtaining commercial grants to improve the estate and can help the client realise some of the tax and inheritance benefits associated with woodland investments.
