Bishops Court Cobbler in Daventry

We took a pair of ladies' boots heeled with a steel tip for a simple repair for new steel tips. The first guy we saw said he did not know anything about repairs, but we could leave them with him, and he would get someone to ring us.
One week later, we went into the shop to ask what was happening and were told they tried to ring us, but it was a lie because we had been waiting for their call and had no missed calls. So they told us to call back the following Saturday, and they would be ready to pick up.
Saturday arrived, and we called in to pick up the boots and pay for the repair but were told he did not know how much. Eventually, he said it was £16.26, and we paid, but upon leaving the shop, another gentleman popped in and said we underpaid by £10.00 because it should have been £26.26, and when we asked what he meant. We told them after paying them, we would put this all over Facebook, to which he replied, do whatever you like. I do not care, so here it is and make sure you tell everyone to keep well away from this shop.
