Absolutely disgraceful experience using this company. On the face of it they claim to be a professional friendly and personal business having met them at a wedding fair and selecting them to be our suit supplier, but behind the scenes they have an extremely rude and abrasive employee, cheap quality suits and overall uncaring attitude towards their customers.
We ordered 4 suits for our wedding and arranged to go down for a fitting. From the initial phone call to this business I should have had an alarm bell, the phone was answered in an abrupt “hello” and I had to ask that if had had called the right place. Upon attending the fitting a what seemed experienced lady measured the party up but we felt she was under pressure and annoyed we were all in the shop even though they requested we all come down at a selected time, this again should have been a second red flag as once suits were decided and deposits paid her mood cheered up.
Then the real problems started, we went to collect our suits 3 days before our wedding (they wanted us to collect 2 days before) even though I kept checking that I would rather collect a week in advance in case of problems. On returning home with the suits (as they don’t like you trying them on there and waiting an extra 2 hours from our collection time because said lady told us the wrong time) we found the suit trousers were too short and did not fit. Also a shirt was incorrect on one and the cuff links we incorrect too. With just 3 days to go we called first thing the next morning where my wife was told to not tell her boss about the suit trousers being too short as she would get in trouble.
We had to alter all the trousers ourselves of which they kept thanking us and make a second trip down to collect the correct cuff links and shirt and another pair of trousers as the waist size was wrong on one pair - even the replacement was wrong as it was too long.
Luckily I met the owner and took great pleasure in telling her about her lady’s mistake especially as she had tried to keep it quiet which was unprofessional. Needless to say we fixed our £600 worth of suit trousers ourselves and upon returning the lady had obviously been spoken to by her boss about it as she became extremely confrontational and rude, this woman should not be customer facing. They offered me £50 and that was it.
In short sadly I am supporter of independent businesses but PLEASE do not add any stress to your wedding planning by using this company, they really do not know what they are doing. And if the owner of this business sees this review, you were lovely but you may want to think about who you are employing in your business as she is not good for you.
