I agree with the other posts. Completely unreliable. He has taken our money and four months later we still don't have our tumble drier back. Avoid at all costs!! One star is too much for him.

Totally agree with other reviewers, Mr Spooner repaired washer at a cost of £85, it worked once then failed, could not get him to come back to rectify repair even though he gave a 1 year guarantee , didn't turn up when he said he would, in the end had to buy a new machine, but couldn't get a refund so ended up out of pocket. Would never recommend to anyone.

Do not use this company, had him out to mend the washer, took it away and it took him a month to bring it back cost me £110. It's broke again, had 12 month guarantee, rang him said he would come and look at it, he has been no where near since. What a tosser!

We booked this company to repair our washing machine. We paid upfront and are still waiting for him to complete the work, having waited in 5 evenings. Do not use if you want a reliable service.

Unfortunately I have had to contact the police on behalf of my parents. My dad (who has had a business for 50 years) and is a pensioner did a job for him a couple of years ago has now been subjected to threats for a number of months as well as my 67 year old mother. They are getting over the loss of their son, my brother and they are two genuine people who have both had successful businesses for over 50 years. They are nothing but honest and this conman has taken advantage of their good nature. My father did some work for him a couple of years ago. 12 months after the work was done he demanded further repairs which were nothing to do with my father's work who has repeat customers who have used his services for over 40 years. My father despite not being responsible for the issues completed free work for him not once but twice because he threatened and harassed him and also verbally abused my mum on their home number and threatened to 'end' his business. He had 'contacts' that could deal with this. Given his colourful criminal past my dad had to complete free work for him. He now wants us silenced about this and is contacting my mum and dad, two pensioners who recently lost their son by calling them daily and saying we need to remove our review and his wife is annoyed about it. He has stalked our social media accounts and called my dad to say he knows what my work is and my mums work is and we need to remove this review. He seems to have done some poor research as he has assumed the beauty products range I sell for my mum is my job...but I'm actually a lawyer. As such and unlike Mr Spooner I operate on the correct side of the law and have had to contact the police due to his threats and harassment to my pensioner parents. In all my legal career I have never dealt with a bigger criminal. It's in the police hands now but I am genuinely fearful for my parents and what will happen next.

Complete criminal. Has been charged by trading standards and by court for criminal offendes. Threatened my dad who is 70. Beware.

Came to repair my washer, said it needed a new pump. Fitted new pump the following day - gave a plausible reason why he could only accept cash, saying he would leave an invoice with a 12 month guarantee. Washer still has same problem, arranged with him to come back on 3 separate days and he failed to turn up each time! Now he won't respond to the numerous messages left on his mobile and my washer still has the same problem!
No, I would never recommend this guy to anyone - he's a total rogue! Stay away from him! Had to give 1 star to get this message published, but he's not even worth 1 star!
