The House Doctor in Stanmore

Chris (aka The House Doctor) talks a good talk but unfortunately does not deliver. Before getting our job (kitchen referbishmemt) Chris told us how wonderful he was and nothing would be an issue or problem. There were stories of doing work for old ladies and only ever asking for 'bags of sugar' as payment. Stupidly we thought he seemed honest. Unfortunately, he was slap-dash about jobs, including screwing panels into freshly laid wooden floors and leaving cupboards unfinished, without back panels so food was able to fall out unable to be retrieved again (happy mice!). While at our house he constantly tried to get more work from us, asking us to write lists of jobs we need doing and telling us not to worry about money. As the job went on issues, that perviously weren't issues, arose and everything became an issue. I would not recommend this man to anyone and have since found a very honest man to fix and finish Chris's shoddy work.
