Wilson's Family Butchers in Corby Hill, Carlisle

Staying at String of Horses in Faugh, I ordered gammon for my evening meal; it was delicious. The following morning, at breakfast I ate thick cut back bacon and pork sausages which were also tasty. I asked the Inn owners where they bought their butcher meat and they told me all of the produce they used was from Steven Wilson's butcher shop at Corby Hill. I travelled to Corby Hill and bought gammon, back bacon, pork link sausages and lamb chops. They all look and taste great and are fantastic value for money. We'll definitely be returning to try other meat products to stock up our family freezer.

We bought steak pie slices, sausages and bacon from the local shop in Armathwaite and ALL are delicious and great quality - now looking for our nearest stockist in Co. Durham.
