I would never use this "garage" again. The head man, Ross, asked me to take my peuguet 307 in at 9am as it would need a new stalk indicator (I had previously stated that it was slow to come on when I indicated left/right).

I took my car in at 9 as requested, the other bloke John, who took the keys from me did not appear to know anything but I explained and said I'd be back at 10.30. Now, I walked about an area I am not familiar with, went back and then there's Ross, he then explains that John did not inform him that my car was there and he would only now (10.40am) send out for the part. At 11.20am, he now says europarts have sold the part and he's sent John out to get another one! Now, if they would have gone to europarts at 9 and not 2/3 hours later, then the part I'm sure, would have been available.. 12.15, John comes back with two old looking indicators stalks, I looked at Ross, he says, we should be able to do this cheaper that the £240 first agreed, I said I know as the ones John has in his hands are from the scrapyard!!

An hour later again, I'm now told they don't fit either, again, he tries other places and insists its not his fault! I explained yes it is as I was asked to come in at 9! Ross took no responsibility at all for the complete and utter disgrace of customer service. Law and behold, no other part could be found and at 2pm I asked for my keys to be returned! Ross explained his men are putting the indicator stalk back on my own car. Eventually I got my keys and drive the hell away from them. When I switched my car on to drive away, my radio was blaring, boot was open and tempeture gauge was halfway, odd I thought as it was suppose to be sitting idle for 6 hours!

I hope everyone takes notice of this review as not only is this a warning but once I took it to another garage, they explained that they could do the job for £140, plus £30 labour! And that all brand new Ross mate (Ross explained that £240 was the cheapest I could get!). If Ross was to read this review I doubt he will be in the least bit bothered as his customer service is appalling and he won't bother at all.

Will never go back and it's words of warning to other hard working people out there who really don't want to be treated in the way I was.

I've used Ross's on a few occasions for auto electrical problems and found it to excellent, reliable and economical. I took my Son's old Clio there when the left indicator stopped working. They replaced it with a second hand unit which they quickly sourced and fitted for me for £40-00 all inclusive. As the car's an 'end of life' banger this was exactly what was required. They are generally busy (a very good sign!) with many customers sitting around in the small reception area as a lot of their work is done on a 'while you wait' basis.

Anorld clark gave me a list of work they said i needed done, but when i took the list to Ross he was able to do the work the same day and also saved me 200 pounds compared to what i was quoted.
Great wee garage so glad i found him on google. He even checked my battery and oil level free of charge.
I would recommend him to everyone

Totally agree with the above comment horrible horrible mechanic. Ross Autos don't know what customer service means. Stay Away and save your money and hassle.
