I contacted this company, and asked for a quote before arranging a visit. To make sure it was inline with our budget. The quote was acceptable, but we wanted to meet the expert and see what his advise was. The visit was arrange very quickly, even earlier than suggested. At no time any one said that as soon as the expert comes to our house we had to pay the full amount quoted. On the next working day an invoice was sent to us with the order to pay the full amount because the full report was ready to be send. The invoice was for the service to oversee all the works during construction period etc. We spoke to severel different advisers and decided to engage with someone who actually installs the soundproofing rather than someone who just oversees. We never paid soundsolutionconsultants, as we do not want them to do the job. The company claims that we had to pay the full amount of all works even though at no point I said we will engage them with the job.

Please just stay away from this company. All other companies give you the advise and once you decide on who you trust the most with your soundproofing you engage them. They will not ask for any money upfront. It is part of the service they provide and the bests will get the job.
I understand it is frustrating to invest into visiting clients etc. but this is part of the job.
