South Darley Pre-School Playgroup is a small, secure and friendly setting offering a home from home environment. The staff work closely with children and their families to ease the transition from home to Pre-School.
The Pre-School is a committee run registered charity and is Ofsted inspected. All staff and the volunteer committee members are CRB checked. The members of staff are experienced and fully qualified to provide a professional, quality, inclusive childcare and early years education.
Our aims are to develop and maintain close, effective relationships with children and their families, and to be inclusive and flexible to enable all children to reach their potential in a safe, enjoyable environment.
We value the children’s own ideas and interests and offer activities both inside and outdoors to support individual development and learning.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and have close links to South Darley and Darley Churchtown Primary Schools.
