McTimoney is a joint manipulation technique that is so gentle, it doesn't use enough force to produce the clicking or cracking sound most people associate with chiropractic. That doesn't mean it isn't as effective - many people notice changes during their first treatment.
I have been a practising McTimoney chiropractor since 2008 and have a special interest in persistent pain conditions, including back pain. With a contemporary approach to pain, neuroscience and musculoskeletal health, my scope of practice includes psychology-based therapies and movement practices (somatic and yoga-based techniques) for pain relief and self-management.
