The Cock & Bottle in Tarleton, Preston

Probably the worst meal we have ever had. We had the "special fish and chips, and the chicken pie". The tiny fish had sea lice, rock hard batter the chips I think were potatoes and non descript peas, the bread and butter were actually cheap sliced bread and margarine. The chicken pie was tasteless. Both these meals? were served on stone cold plates. The saving grace was that the very nice lady who took no charge for these disasters. We will not be returning and would discourage anyone else from doing so.
