Vision Care Medical Eye Centre
I have been going to Vision Care for over 25 years and have always seen Prakesh. My eyesight is very bad to say the least and he has ensured that my vision is tip top with extended wear gas permeable contact lenses. I find glasses very uncomfortable to wear so this is very important to me. In January of this year I found it incredibly hard to put my lenses in as they appeared to be smearing as soon as they touched my eye. I made an appointment to see Prakesh and he found that I had developed a very bad allergic reaction to the lenses. It was late on Friday night, but he wouldn't let me leave until he had found a temporary solution for me. This took a considerable amount of time and even though the practice had closed the staff were still friendly and lovely to me. After I had left (I live in Newcastle and have done for 15 years, but refuse to go elsewhere for my lenses) he researched the issue I was having and decided to order new lenses that had just been launched in the States. When they arrived at his practice he then sent them to me. My eyes once again are great.
As I said, I live in Newcastle but I refuse to see anyone else. I have done in the past and as my eyesight is so bad the opticians that I have seen have not prescribed the correct lens which has caused discomfort and not being able to see correctly.
I now make an annual journey back to London especially to see Prakesh as I know that I am in the best hands possible. I personally couldn't do without him.
