Bridgeford & Co in Lymington

Just had an awful experience with their property management office in Brighton. Statement of accounts were so confusing that we made a genuine mistake in not paying part of the service charge. This related to when we first bought the flat and we thought we were being charged for the six months before we purchased. Our solicitor wrote to us on 28th April to clarify but by 15th May we had received a letter from Bridgefords solicitor charging us £168 for their fees and £250 in management fees on top of the £172 originally owing. We were given 7 days to pay the lot. Shocked that it all escalated so quickly, without proper explanation. Brighton office seem to be incredibly disorganised whenever we have tried to ring with queries...we don't trust them!
