The Children's Society (Retail)
I remember when I was 18 and I'd go to the charity shop because I couldn't afford clothes or other household items. I'm glad I'm not 18 now, this shop is a disgrace for prices! They have brand new items to sell donated from businesses, I understand that they're new but you seriously can't charge the same prices that they started out as. Even considering that the items they received could be gotten cheaper from actual high street shops.
I go in there every so often and they've had the same new stuff in there for a year. No one is going to pay brand new prices in a charity shop. The manager or whoever responsible needs a wake up call. Even the second hand clothes, you could get brand new cheaper at Primark.
They need a complete rethink of their prices, the charity they work for would get much more money if they lowered their prices. Think about those new shoes that have been there a year, they're trying to sell them for 60 pound. No one goes into a charity shop and spends 60 pound on shoes.
