A2B Taxis and Minibus Hire Ltd in Cwmbran

Have used a2b for a long time and never had any problems until Friday. Tried to charge us £24 one way from Goytre to Pontypool!! Paid £12 the last time we used them for exactly the same trip - was told we must have been quoted wrong last time...yet it's only £12 from Goytre to Cwmbran. Was told that they have to come from Cwmbran hence the extra cost - never known a company to charge you for getting there, and the £12 trip from Goytre to Cwmbran..they still have to come from Cwmbran!!?? Paid £14 with Tiger over Christmas who also come from Cwmbran! I stated to a2b that we use them regularly from Cwmbran to Pontypool and pay £9 - Ron argued that £9 plus the £12....is £21!! Still not £24!! So even looking at it that way (which is still a completely different trip) is wrong. Was then told we must have been misquoted (again!!) the discussion with Ron ended in him putting the phone down on me. Sad to say i won't be using them again.
