The Black Swan in Wetwang, Driffield

Limping home from York after dropping one son at Uni on a miserable dark grey Monday evening 3 of us were unable to find anywhere open closer than Wetwang. They promise a warm welcome and we got just that!
Open fire, good beer, the crispest battered fish and real chips I have tasted in a long while esp. at those prices.
Good service, homemade puddings, friendly locals; a clean brightly lit pool table.

Everything an inn should be, never mind a pub. We went home cheered up no end, with full bellies.

Highly recommend.

Good, home made dishes at very reasonable prices. Tasty and extremely good value for money. The log burning fire in the Lounge Bar makes the venue very cosy in cooler temperatures. A good selection of beers and lagers available.
