Clarkson & Son in Rotherham

My advise is do not use this company!
I Made two visits, two phone calls and got absolutely nowhere! Spoke to both the owners wife and daughter who were both very rude, abrupt and refused to provide a written quote and example of inscription so I could make an informed decision with my family! The reason they gave was that I could take the inscription to another company!

They didn't seem to grasp the concept that most modern day businesses are only too happy to provide a free quote. The business has a funeral directors next door and they apparently don't endorse Clarkson's work which must tell you something about the customer relations side of the business.

When I said I wasn't happy they told me to take my custom elsewhere if I didn't like the service. Owners were an elderly couple and the daughter in her 50's who didn't seem interested in running the business moving forward, so my guess is that they are running the business down as they had no website or email facility for me to send my engraving ideas.

Needless to say I took my custom elsewhere!
