I had my second visit, earlier this year, to the Clinic of Physical Medicine with Roy Wallis, Naturopath, Kinesiologist and Holistic Healer. My first visit 2 weeks prior was beyond words, in fact I struggled even to describe what a change I felt. My energy, and thus my bodies chemistry seemed transformed.
I have been associated indirectly with the medical profession, and alternative practitioners for 40 years and must say I never experienced such an energy transformation as I did after the first session with Roy. Holistic Healing took on a more, complete, practical and meaningful reality through the use of a combination of therapies Roy uses. I experienced, in the 2 weeks following, a new lease on life and Roy confirmed the change.
Not only do I have a revitalised interest in exercise, but I learned about unconscious deep-seated emotional and mental blocks I had that were behind some of my physical symptoms.
I not only have a more robust energy but now with an understanding of some of my emotional and mental blocks, I have something I can work on at a deeper level. I’m aware attitudes and beliefs are more challenging to overcome, however, understanding what they are is a huge break through and ½ the battle.
I’m very grateful for the experience and definitely recommend a session with Roy. A very knowledgeable and compassionate man!

I am a 50 year old woman. I have been in constant pain in the hip/pelvic region for about 40 years.
I am healthy and active and have ridden horses on a professional level for most of my life. I am in full time work.
The pain sometimes affects the sciatica nerve, and any exercise seems to aggravate the problem, which means complete rest.
I have been down all the obvious routes, doctors, x-ray’s, Mir scan, electric shocks on muscles, blood tests, taken chronditin, glucosamine, seen chiropractors, physiotherapy. So I am on the scrap heap, I am offered pain management by the NHS who recommended morphine and offered physiotherapy (10 month waiting list), I decline, thank you.
I was recommended by an enthusiastic previous client of Mr Roy Wallace that kept “nagging” me to make an appointment, I only made the appointment to “shut him up.”
The first appointment is a questionnaire, which I unenthusiastically filled out and couldn’t be bothered to mention various other problems I had. Some questions and discussion, and a diagnosis… WHAT! Really! Roy explained that the ball joint had tilted forward slightly and the muscles had seized around the ball in fear of it dislodging (which has happened) but the muscles would not let the ball joint revert back into the socket. I have been telling all other professional bodies concerned that I felt it was a muscular problem, but I was a small voice and went unheard. Yet here I was, for the first time being told the exact problem, no hesitation, no floundering and I could be fixed within 3 to 5 sessions. His diagnosis made sense, and a sense of surrealism surrounded me, I felt elated.
Three one hour sessions, followed by 3 half hour sessions all within 6 weeks.
4 muscles in left hip not working.
2 muscles in right hip not working.
The problems I didn’t mention but he found.
Rib “out” in my back. (Which has caused sharp inconsistent pain for about 2 years)
Bones out in both feet, I have had bunion operations, and one toe is paralysed from the op, (or so I thought) with a bit of tweaking and pressure points, it was the muscle that had seized, hence the cramp I was getting. It was about 8 hours after treatment that I suddenly “felt” my foot. It was like a nose un blocking (weird!)
A hiatal hernia. Which I get from time to time.
I found that once one problem is sorted, another comes to light; it is like unpeeling a layering of problems. The whole process and technique has been undoubtedly a wonderful experience, I am pain free for the first time in 40 years, I am still careful and wouldn’t attempt a marathon, and I return in 6 weeks to make sure everything is holding. Then once a year for an m.o.t.
My only disappointment is that kinesiology seems to have no merit, place or recognition within the NHS, there was no “authority” that even recommended this treatment. Even privately. I don’t understand, there seems to be a lot of negativity, a lack of understanding and sadly ignorance.
Having said that, Roy Wallis is extremely knowledgeable and he has managed to combine and draw on his experience with his own mixture of unique ability in his diagnosis and treatment.

Thank you,
Lesley Cole
