UPS in Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead

Please be careful when applying for a driving class c position with this company you dont leave depot till 1030am/1100amish with an astronomical "bulk" load which the other drivers have chosen to leave off their smaller vans, i worked there for 3 weeks leaving a well paid job, i stupidly believed their lies regularly going out with 70plus stops in a class 2 18tonner, absolutely impossible to do all of your stops then they would ring you with loads of collections, this is a genuine review btw, like i say please be very careful with this company you go to tamworth for a week and are brain washed by the trainers who aren't in the real world, yes granted the hourly rate on paper looks good and for an unskilled north east guy it is very tempting but your daily work load doesn't warrant it. Believe me, you go out every morning absolutely rafted with graft and i'm a brilliant multi drop man experience of 30years and i couldn't manage it if your currently a multi drop man and have your own run which you know like the back of your hand and are bringing home roughly £350 a week and getting in at 1800ish every night then please take my advice and stay where you are, cos if you go to ups you'll regret it i promise you!! thank you!!

One star simply because no stars is not allowed. I am waiting for an extremely important time sensitive parcel that was ordered via ups express, to ensure morning delivery. It is now 15:24 and the parcel is nowhere to be seen. A call to customer services only generates a call back within one hour which by then will be useless.

If I could give a minus star I would, absolutely horrific experience with UPS. Their offshore customer service skills are terrible to say the least. The driver then decides to leave the Calling Card on the front of the door (no even posted) and did not knock.... Following this the Depot called and explained they will request the driver to return and will call back to confirm within the hour...… 2 and half hours later; no call back and no further forward. Quite simply - the worst customer experience I have ever received!!!!!!
