Dyslexia Northwest and Red Rose School in Lytham St. Annes
Dyslexia Northwest and Red Rose School
Myself and other parents have found this school to be poorly managed and does not deliver education in a way that optimises the pupils chances of achieving their full potential.
Parents issues are ignored and pupils concerns are dismissed. Communication with parents is poor. The school claims to understand vulnerable pupils, this is not the case for all vulnerable pupils. My childs vulnerability was increased (and ignored) at this school.
There are some good teachers but the overall running of the school, lack of structure and poor discipline overrides any good work that is done. The curriculum they promise is not delivered. The school leavers programme is poor.
Year 11 planning is poor and access to qualifications is very poor and often misleading. My child and others I know have left this school with next to no qualifications only to find within a year of being at college they have passed a number of qualifications with ease !! If I had my time again I would never have sent my child to this school.
